MOSCOW, Apr 20, 2001 -- (Agence France Presse) Tibet's exiled spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, will visit Russia in August and September,
visiting the Tuva republic in Russia's far east and other predominantly Buddhist republics, the ITAR-TASS news agency reported Friday.
The Nobel peace laureate, who lives in exile in India, announced the visit in a telegram to the republic's president Sherig-ool
Oorzhak, the agency said.
