Created by Jim Meddick, published November 13, 2012. Why is a hand-tinted photo of Richard Feynman hanging above E.B.'s bed? Is there any connection to "The Amateur Scientist" chapter in "Surely You're Joking, Mr Feynman!"? Only Jim Meddick knows for sure.
Alley Oop
As if seeing Richard Feynman in one comic strip were not enough, he subsequently made an extended appearance in Alley Oop; the Friends of Tuva site has archived the Alley Oop comics featuring Richard Feynman.
We're not exactly sure what inspired authors Jack and Carole Bender to take their long-lived comic strip Alley Oop down this path, but here it is... does anyone recognize any of the poses in which Feynman is drawn? A couple of them seem to be homages to some photos used on book covers, etc.
