The Stamps of TuvaUntil Tuvan musicians and singers began their conquest of the world in the 1990s, Tuva's main claim to fame was the interesting series of postage stamps issued from the 1920s to the 1940s. In fact, it was the memory of these stamps that prompted Richard Feynman to ask "whatever happened to Tannu Tuva", eventually launching Friends of Tuva and, a few years later, this web site.
